Giants LS — what am I missing?
-
I understand why Padres LS cards are still overpriced (everyone wants to finish that set before Tatis is added). But why are Giants LS cards priced so high? Is there some “meta” (I hate that word) advantage with their captain or something? I don’t get why their bronze and commons are still so expensive.
Also, White Sox are going to win 110 games this year. Sox over Phillies in 6. Slugfest all around. It’s going to put the home run derby to shame.
And, as long as I’m going off topic…
- I saw Dungeons & Dragons yesterday. It was pretty good!
- I just finished The Martian by Andy Weir. It was great! Highly recommend.
- I think the tornado siren is going off right now. I should probably grab my dog and hide in the bathroom.
- Goodnight, everyone!
EDIT: fixed the Sox win projection. Let’s go with 110. Conservatively. Oscar Colas for ROY. Cease wins Cy Young. Robert wins MVP. TA leads the league in hitting. Eloy hits 80 homers and makes Judge look like Ozzie Smith.

Sox have really good starting pitching. But once you get to that bullpen it gets pretty dicey. Also I think their lineup isnt great, but they have a lot of guys that I think could surprise people. I could see something like 85-77. 90-72 if lineup hits well.

Judge is going to do backflips in the infield! This is exciting.

First, I really liked "The Martian". Fun read.
Giants LS - you're right. Very weird. Like others, I finished the LS Padres because of Tatis. But the Giants Silvers, Bronzes, and Commons are almost double what the Diamondbacks and Rockies are, and have been pretty much since game release.

They are high cause no diamonds and everyone is trying to complete the non diamond teams. Check out the Reds

The reds actually makes sense though. Dibble is a really good card

I’m trying to finish NL first for Sosa. I only have the big diamonds left (Mets, Mookie and Cardinals). The Reds/Giants were def tough pills to swallow. Grinding RTTS hitting 400 bombs has been a good way to generate stubs since flipping is tough right now.
