Nope just another 50k pack to get SOME people to maybe buy stubs so 3 -- 50k packs in a touch over a week but no one finds that suspect. Not to mention buying these packs helps in the set one path too so chances are IF you want to complete it your going to have to buy a few of them along the way. However I know me saying this we are going to get the fan boys saying stuff like -- do not buy them then or just wait for them to be a reward or whatever instead of seeing this for the cash grab it really is.
If you want to play the fool and not push back on this go for it but they will continue to pull this garbage over and over and over til the fans say enough is enough and slow it down. Also I remember when these type of packs were 25 to 30k now were at 50 .. what is next 75 to 100 in another couple years.
I can accept that the game is good but the business practices by SDS is predatory and that it is a fact even if fan boys want to make excuse after excuse for this greedy garbage. SDS I love the base game but I hate they way your taking advantage of the fans of the game and you should be ashamed of yourselves.
NOW Fanboys go for it let me have it cannot wait to see how you just roll over and accept it -- LOL

absolutely fantastic i am loving the new direction this year - clean and easy without the need to be a grinding nerd - ill be ready for RS in around a week or two at most with the team i have already built up - tons of stubs too 0 market flipping beautiful stuff

One more thing I made a whole post complaining and I feel I have the right to do this but complaining if one thing but unless your willing to offer some solutions to the issue / compromise then this can get old so here is a reasonable idea that can still make SDS money and maybe not seem AS greedy.
Let's use the new pack today its 50k and we will not even go into IF the cards in it are worth it or not just the pack itself. Have two versions of the packs one like we got now odds the same BUT then offer a version that the cards are NO SELL so they can only be used in collections for 35 to 40k but also instead of the 1:5 odds for 99 have the odds for the cheaper pack be a little worse like 1 :8 so the player can decide if its worth it to spend the extra stubs for slightly better odds and being able to sell the cards.
This seems like a reasonable solution and STILL allows them to make some money too -- I am curious what you all think

I question whether I will even meet my meager goals of getting all of the Cardinals players. As of this morning you needed roughly 300K to pick up Jordan, Edmonds, Arenado (live), Goldschmidt (live) Helsley (live). I need the three live series cards for the Musial Collection. By the time I get all that accomplished they probably will have released 2 or 3 more high end Cardinals.
Early on at least, it feels like a treadmill that I may not be able to keep up with as someone who gets his stubs from gameplay (missions, Conquests, moments) and not from flipping or investing.

i hear you guys completely here and you are all right in your takes
one thing i am personally doing is saving as much stubs as possible and only collecting when necessary - i dont know if this helps you but it helps me greatly and reduces the need to think about Set 1 or Set 2 etc. as opposed to Core and fixed players - plus you get that wild card carry over slot which is nice
