How to improve the game....
Don't listen to half baked ideas on the forum from people who want more non-consequential bs added into an already crowded with content game.

Agreed I wanna see that again it was fun -
Also, change the name of "Guess Pitch" to "Cora Mode".

lineup vs left and lineup vs right, and the computer picks the lineup based on the SP it randomly chooses. If the game can randomly select starting pitchers it should be able to select he correct lineup based on the pitcher's handedness as well. If you only want Frank Thomas to start vs lefties, because you have Lou Gehrig, you shouldn't have to lose Gehrig to play Thomas.

So you want to face a lineup full of right handed batters if the CPU picks a lefty as your starter and vice versa?
-
Just like might happen in real life, yes. If the CPU selects a lefty starter as my opponent's pitcher then give me my "vs LHP" lineup. I have 13 roster spots, so I can't configure the entire lineup that way, but if I want to set up platoons at 5 of the positions I should be able to. Why not? Platooning is as old as baseball.
-
If the game let you see what pitcher you were facing at the lineup screen you could make these adjustments yourself. That's reality, both teams get lineup cards prior to the game.
Of course, you'd probably have more quits from people who don't want to face certain pitchers. That's not reality.

The roulette pitching choice isn't going anywhere anytime soon honestly.

Your last statement is why that idea might be trouble. People backing out from the lineup screen whenever they see a pitcher they don't want to face. If I can set up vs. LHP and vs. RHP lineups then nothing changes except it becomes possible to platoon without being forced to burn subs to do so.

The simple solution would be if you back out and quit from the lineup screen, you forfeited and take the L.
I don't see a good reason why you should not be penalized for backing out and quitting after pitcher selection. This doesn't happen in real life baseball.

The only thing I would improve on is the graphics. They seem to be less than 19. Maybe that’s because this is the beta and I am jumping the gun a little bit we will see when the final product comes out. Thanks again for letting me enjoy my favorite game of all time!!!
