Give the pitchers a chance

Hitting is so easy. It’s easy on HoF, it’s really easy on AS, and below that is a joke.
I’m not saying anything has to be adjusted in terms of rewarding PCI placement or pitch velocity or any of that. There is one fix that is needed, and I’ve been saying it for a couple of years:
Make the umpires call balls and strikes perfectly in all H2H modes.
If any part of the ball crosses any part of the strike zone it is a strike. Why is that so hard to program into a video game?
The way it is now, umpires call pitches on the black strikes only half the time, if that.
With pitching as it is (you know, miss your inputs by an eyelash and here comes a hanger), all we have to do is sit back and take pitches until the inevitable hanger comes. And believe me, it’s coming. Then just have a rip. Homer, double. Almost guaranteed.
Give the pitchers a chance. Give them EVERY pitch on the black. As a hitter, the risk of taking close pitches is minimal (well, not really “close.” They’re strikes according to the rule book).
This change will actually hurt me because I have patience and am a good hitter. I’d lose more games with this change. But it needs to be done.
