So I think I missed how it works, are seasons the new innings? And why so many 99s so early?
This game is best when you build with silvers, golds, low diamonds early...ugh

I think it's going to save the game. No more waiting until after the postseason to get a high overall card of your favorite player. They're following the madden and 2k model where theres a ton more good cards of every player from superstar to role player. Personally, its gonna keep me engaged longer during the season. By set 3 you will only be able to use set 2/3 cards and 1 card from set 1. Just to keep lineups and rotations changing through the year

I agree. I enjoy the early stages of the show. I like playing with lower cards and not having to face elite pitchers every game.
Oh well.
