Those of us who struggle with this issue, which do you prefer? I've tried strike zone, 1, 2, 3 and high and still for the life of me can't lay off of them.

    Help. lol

Zoom can help change your eye level and then switch back to strike zone view to better track pitches. I do this whenever I’m having trouble laying off pitches anywhere out of the zone.

I don't think there is a specific camera that will help you with this issue. What you should focus on instead is your plate discipline, patience and pitch recognition. The more pitches you see, the easier you'll recognize them.

I've played on SZ3 the last couple of games and I can kind of see the ball better when it goes low. Haven't tried it against a lefty yet though.

I use strike zone but honestly I think the best way to lay off low pitches (or any really) is patience (like RaesONE said) and learning your opponents tendencies. Try sitting on pitches mid-up in the zone and just letting low stuff go for a few ABs.

Yeah, you'll get caught taking a few backwards Ks occasionally but if you can force the opponent to start throwing pitches in the zone it makes hitting easier. (and yes its harder than it sounds -- I can't count the number of times I've told myself not to swing at the next pitch because it will be in the dirt and I do it anyway).

Take 10 minutes every single game before you play and get in practice mode vs sliders/cutters. Work on it before you step foot in a game, every time. Team practice and actually face the top pitchers, you will get better. Turn the sliders up for the fastballs so you can train your eye for outlier.

You should use Hitting off the Tee camera. That way you can set how high or low you want to go.
