30K worth of stubs from DD version

What's everyone's goal with these?
Blow on packs?
Invest in players?
Buy one or two players?
Use for flipping? -
Well, that depends on what you need most. I would never purchase packs as you will likely get common players. If you need players to complete for collections maybe that, but if there are one or two players that you want/need that you can flip sure. I am probably not getting 23 but is their market already open?

I'll probably try to "snipe" some quality cards to field a competitive team early on with the 30K bonus stubs.

But wouldn't this be one of the times to buy packs when all the cards are inflated? LS Golds for 5K and up. Diamonds probably 10k and up. Silvers probably 1-2K?

Smart thing would be use for investing. Buy early release cards and wait for release date guys that want to purchase those cards. Make profit. Dumb thing = buy packs.
The last 3 years I used one simple strategy to not spend money and get LS collection done by June. Never purchase a pack until LS is complete. There will be enough free packs and stubs by just playing.

I never buy packs. Well except for the first year where I bought a bunch of packs. But this year I shall either use it to flip if there is anything to flip or buy a few pieces of my roster so I can start losing online with a good roster.

On rare occasions, I break down and buy a "Flash Sale" pack. Which you should never do. You should INVEST... but I can't help myself... because I'm pretty sure I have a 90% chance of pulling LS Trout.

Yes, Flash Sales are the perfect time to buy the cards that are in the Flash pack right as it drops. Then sell back a couple hours later for profit.

Live Series golds are capped at 5K. But you are right, they range up to 5K, the good ones over 3K. Silvers go high, but still under 1K.
If you buy packs you are not guaranteed a gold and in some (and not rare) cases even no silvers. That is why - in the long haul - you are better off not buying packs -

Yes it is, but I check the market first as since the first year of Xbox they bronze and silvers weren't as inflated as they had been, but yeah if there are good values on silvers and bronzes packs are no lose .

Live Series golds are capped at 5K. But you are right, they range up to 5K, the good ones over 3K. Silvers go high, but still under 1K.

Unless they changed it because I remember selling a LS Gold during release a few years back for 15K.
I used to sell off everything I would pull, to stock up on stubs, and wait to do the LS Collection once cards for near QS value. But it would take me forever.

Besides the packs from my preorder, I have 25 from twitch drops. Hopefully, I’ll get enough variety to get a good start on the LS collection.

I tend to have horrible pack luck. I'll open my free packs from the DD and drops....then i'll put my team together and grind the program. By the time im a few days in, i'll have a good idea as to where the market is heading and i'll take the accumulated stubs to try and finish off as many teams as i can in that first week. I wont bother buying packs though because there are so many ways to get them free now anyway.

Opening night is actually the only time in the game cycle when buying packs is actually profitable because of the inflated prices. Yet, highly volatile. You may put $100 in packs and get nada.

You are right, LS golds are not capped at 5K. I checked that with Mullins, who was a high and hyped gold at launch. In the first 2 days he ranged between 5-7K, after that always lower than 5K. So it is possible to pull high golds that go awesome, but it is in the early access phase.
Back to „Is it smart to buy packs?“. Imo:- If you want excitement, than buying packs is a good thing in the early release days
- From an investment standpoint it is the same as playing lottery. In the long run, most of people are losing money(stubs)

Dont be mad if you dont get all the said Twitch packs. I cannot tell you how many packs I have claimed and not got. Twitch will show them as claimed, I will be all linked up, but the number will be totally different.
