I'm only here to play against other humans online

Stop making me complete Showdowns and Moments to unlock cards. There is literally zero user based outcomes in these modes. They are preprogrammed to play a certain way.
Stop making those of us who are here to compete play these silly made up tasks. Especially when whatever I do doesn't really matter anyway.
Pitch 5 innings without giving up a hit. Ok. Cool. Let me try....K,K,K,K,K,K,K,K,K,K,K,K,K,K...pitcher rips a double with 2 outs and now I have to resest.
Nevermind my pitching meter was the size of a quarter stick of butter. The programming had different plans...Total waste of time. Over and over

Every card should be able to be earned by playing the CPU or online. Simple as that

My apologies. I left 2H Duke Snider off the list, who can only be obtained via Conquest.
Clearly, this makes the game unusably broken.

I'm not making stuff up, I put a question mark at the end because I was asking you that question. Everything written above suggested that.
But fair enough, so you are ok with BR and WS rewards being earned through something like mini-seasons?

Why is it so hard to comprehend stuff around here? All I'm saying is there needs to be a way to unlock cards instead of playing Showdown or doing 40 moments. Let me accumulate a certain amount of game played XP.
Instead of making me waste hours on moments let me play online or offline.

That would include ws and br rewards being earned offline no?
