Even at league minimum, he’s overpriced. Pirates fans are better off with Ke’Bryan Hayes and O’Neil Cruz on the left side of the infield. Throw in Nick Gonzalez at 2B, then sign a competent 1B (I believe you know to which play I am referring) and the Pirates infield is as exciting as any infield in baseball!
It’s just the other 22 roster spots that would concern me.
