Just began playing RS and had the weirdest game ever!
-
We were in the third inning, and I am batting. The other player decides to throw batting practice and not field. After I scored 16 runs, we end the top of the third, and before I threw the first pitch in the bottom of the third, his wireless controller disconnected and the clock began to count down.
He was on an XBox and I'm on a PS.
He either had a hardware malfunction or something...I don't think he could have kept pitching if it was a complete fail.
It was so weird.

He may have been afk. Was he really slow to the plate and only throwing the primary pitch?
-
Not too slow. It seemed like a normal pace. Most pitches were fastballs down the middle, though. Maybe his controller failed, and the outs that did occur were the CPU.
-
If he was afk, it would have been only fastballs down the middle and the fielders would not run after the ball.

On rare occasions, I've had this happen in BR. When it does, I rejoice as it helps tremendously with the "single entry" missions.

The closest fielder didn’t go after it, but the next fielder over did. It sounds like he was afk or his controller died on him.
