You admited to quick pitching, so you expect us to not believe you are exploiting all day long? Keep telling yourself that.

Lol why would I “quick pitch” to speed the game along and then spam R2 and pause for the entire game clock to slow it down?

I don’t need to cheese to beat anyone. I play the game straight up. I win some and lose some but I don’t cheese anything.

I just get annoyed by the same group of people who post nothing but complaints and excuses on this board about why they can’t win online or why they don’t play online. I can’t even find a normal or positive post from some of you guys, it’s literally just this same nonsense over and over.

I promise if you put as much effort into improving your hitting you would notice that you can win online and beat the “cheesers and cheaters”.

Again, it’s not black and white. People can post about certain aspects of online play that could stand improvement without being incapable of winning or hitting online.

Just like people can play the game at a faster pace without being cheesers or cheaters.

I’ve only been playing 22 for a couple months but I have a winning record in RS and BR (can’t find my overall events record). I generally don’t play much past the 500’s and would say I’m generally average at the game.

Does this mean my opinions on the gameplay online are irrelevant?

I’ve matched up against well known members of this forum multiple times the past few years in both RS and Events and they’ve all been good clean matchups with us messaging each other afterwards out of respect to say Good Game. Why would they do that if I played like a D-bag?

You also need to define what quick pitching means to you. Some think it means pitching once you beg the ball back, some say it’s if you balk, some think it’s slide-stepping. I pitch quickly, AKA I don’t take long between pitches so the game moves along. I appreciate when my opponents do the same. That’s it.

No I’m saying calling things exploits and cheating that aren’t at all is wrong. There’s a lot of members of this forum who admit to not being able to hit well online for various reasons. Some choose to say it’s because of their own skill level and amount of experience and others like to blame the game or their opponents for “cheesing, cheating, exploiting, blah blah blah). This is where git gud is born from because it’s like a broken record.

Imagine my surprise. A CHEATER defending cheating.

No, but you still keep defending cheating. I have seen tons of videos of 800 level players going online just to cheese and annoy other players so they can "entertain".

People like you are just arrogant because you are better than some and even though you could win "clean" you like to rub their noses in it for kicks because it makes you feel so superior and you can offer your unintelligent "get gud" when called out. If you tried that against 900 level players you would get destroyed.

I don't mind losing like I did the other day when I had a 2-0 lead in the 8th and left a curveball hanging on a guy I should have beaten handily, but when someone has to cheese, especially when I see their player stats and know I would not win anyway is the problem.

But you keep telling yourself it's ok, because I am not at your level and "your just having a little fun"

I think you’re confusing me with one of the other posters in this thread, my dude.

I’m not defending anyone. If anything, I’m on your side, but I’ve found that really the only way to counter opponents that pitch like that is to just make an adjustment.

If I tap R2 once or twice to suggest to my opponent to slow down, and they do not, there’s not much else I can do.

What are you even talking about? I literally just explained to you that I play the game straight up. I don’t cheese. I’m not elite at this game, but I’m pretty decent.

Keep telling yourself that everyone who is better than you or beats you is cheating or cheesing if that helps you feel Better about yourself. It’s ok to admit sometimes that your opponent outplayed you. Move on to the next game.

You are correct. I did reply to the wrong person. Sorry.

Not surprised. He already admitted to R2 spamming and quick pitching while saying he does not cheat.

Is he also bunt dancing, bunt cheesing too?

Solid reading comprehension. When did I say I was R2 spamming? Now I’m just assuming you’re a troll and not just a whiner.

Also, the Event game ended 8-0. No need for bunt dancing or R2 spamming.
