Just signed with the Red Sox. So are they throwing him in at second base or does this mean that they aren't trying to sign Devers to a long term contract?

My guess is DH / 1B / 3B. Casas will need someone to protect him in case he starts slow. Devers is obviously 3B but will play about 140 games, so he'll need some days. DH is probably a safe bet.

I am pretty sure the old man isnt replacing Devers. Not sure if he will start, but DH/1st sounds about right.

Actually after I posted this I realized that they got rid of JD Martinez. So DH does sound like a possibility.
