I don’t play online at all except for my best buddy in friendly games.
I can consistently beat the CPU on HOF but using several variations on the same team I never seem to beat him, my team just goes flat. Are there any cards you all would reccomend that are consistent performers for online play?
    Curious what you all honk.
    Thanks

I can offer my thoughts and obvi its based on playing all year. also I will offer some anecdotal stuff on who I hate pitching too. this is my lineup in order and ill offer maybe one two swaps. im 85-15 or something like that in ranked for reference:
99 george brett, third base smooth af swing hits both sides incredibly well. can use jose ramizerez whom I hate pitching too, really a combo of story, pena, turner, seager, here as well.
cf 99 mickey: for all cf/ of you literally cant go wrong with a ton of people, cutch, trea turner, griffey, reynolds, belligner if youre an AS player,
99 trout LF: harper, shef, ruth, vlad was a goat for me, I mean outfield you cant choose wrong just pick your best 4 with the 4th going on the bench
1b ruth, another stacked position, can use miggy, frank thomas still mashes, jimmie fox,
RF: 99 brian reynolds switch hitter with a smooth swing, can use the others above
2b trea turner, also can use xander bogarts, corey seager, story, jose ramizer is here a ton
ss jimmy rollings: switchh hitter and fast and good fielding, also can use lindor for a better swing or 99 pena. trevvor story is my fave but on HOF and above idk if his contact can solve it enough
C mauer: just kept him there, hes been a beast and just won 2 games for me with 3 home runs and 3 hits off 99 no no randy, I hate adley rush bc he hits bombs off me. jimmie fox is easily good here and sleeperr pick is joe torre

I would suggest that if you’re just getting started in ranked that you don’t worry too much about your lineup at first. Below 400 or 500, it really doesn’t matter IMO.

You may even match up with less powerful teams if you’re not rocking an insane god squad.

Try a lineup of all postseason cards or another theme team would be my suggestion.

Then, once you hit the 500’s and it starts getting really sweaty, you can follow Lord Blumpkin’s (or everyone else’s) advice.

    My .02 cents worth.
