    For all of these years, I've strictly been a RS guy. Very little Events here and there. Seems this year they put more emphasis on BR? Especially when it comes to acquiring solid rewards. I know it's a little late now but come '23 is that the route I should take with online play as opposed to the occasional RS game?

    Yes, the amount of stubs you get (assuming you have the br cards already , I have all of them except walter) is 100% worth it. Obv now stubs are less worth grinding for, but the BR program you can easily get done in 1-4 days depending on how long/short you play

    Can’t speak to previous iterations of BR, but I’ll repeat what I said about the Milestone Showdown:

    Even dorks like me can finish it.

    I'm at 90 points OP and I am not very good. So far I've made well over 500K stubs and still have Walter and about 350k stubs to win. It's a major pay day. Even if you have to (or choose to) buy in 20 times which you definitely don't need to if you're any good at all. It's also pretty fun. And I really don't love online play but this has made me like it a lot more.

    I’m strictly offline, not the best player, jumped into BR about 3 weeks ago, about 10 days later I had Trout. I’m jumping in again for the stubs.

    At 95 points you get to pick 2 rewards. Those cards alone were good for 700k. At 90k get a player and I think I picked Gossage who was 340k. Each duplicate gold reward nets you 25k and I believe there is like 9 of those. The silver are 5k each and the bronze are 2.5k. I have easily made 1.25k or so on the program and walked away with a million stub card to boot.

    Plus it is the easiest BR missions we have seen all year.

    1.25 M and 90 BR points, not 90k.

    BR has always been the way to make many stubs if you can consistently make deep runs or go 12-0. Early in the game cycle the high diamonds are very expensive and later on the supply/demand for the flawless cards inflates the prices of all those cards.

    You guys make it sound so easy. I've tried BR a few times this year (and again this morning), and I never make it past a third game. I'd rather spend my 1,500 stubs somewhere else.

    I'm down to one... Finest Verlander. I'm hoping to pick that up at 5 wins in the next event. But... then I'll be 3 short due to the... event.

    LOVE that Seager card.

    But why not just keep entering. You don’t have to go 12-0, just keep building XP for the missions. It’s just like the regular programs… build xp, progress thru the program and you get rewards. I played maybe 2, sometimes 3 games a night, lost more than I won, but kept building XP along the way. In approx a week I had Trout. I’m doing it again just for the rewards. Looking at the prices now for those high diamonds, 15-20K in entry cost is nothing.

    Be dorkier.

    Take all rookies, breakout, all stars and vets. Bat/pitch them first. The PXP piles up quicker than you realize. I’m in the middle of Entry #6 and I’m already up to 57 points.

    Last night I had 6 points to go to get to 100. I ended up re drafting 11 times to get the players I wanted for missions. I know that's excessive. But stubs are hanging from trees at this point. Case in point: I spent 16,500 on drafts for this one run. After 2 Games (one win and one loss) I got to 9 points and got Mussina, Joe Morgan and Walter Johnson.

    Johnson= 1 Million stubs
    Mussina-= 430K stubs
    Morgan= 435k stubs

    I spent 16,500 stubs and made back 1.86 million.

    Moral of the story- I don't know, just play BR.

    Okay - so I need to look at this more like a program than a showdown. I'll make a spreadsheet outlining the missions and reward path and then give it a shot. I'll try not to think about the entry stubs (which is why I thought of it more like a showdown).

    (this was on my 2023 list of things to learn, along with pinpoint, so I may as well get a head start on it.)

    Me so far:
    Entries: 7 (-9000K. First one was the freebie)
    Points earned so far: 65 (still have the 15K and 25K whales left)

    Earnings from Free Packs (plus win 3 reward): 3267
    Earnings from Bronze Packs: 27,000
    Earnings from Silver Packs: 27,000
    Earnings from Gold Packs: 112,500 with a Mauer to go
    Earnings from 3 Headliners at 50 points: 2700

    Total profit (so far): 163,467. Even if it takes me another 109 entries to get those last 35 points, I'm still coming out ahead given the remaining rewards in the path.

    Dorkalicious!
