If you sit and hit EVERYTHING, I’m leaving. I’m not going to let you pad your stats.

By all means, go ahead and leave. I don't mind if you quit, saves me time to get to my next game but as long as you let the ball land first. That's all I'm asking for is something to reward the players who get dashboarded on a little PXP boost to make up for the lost PXP from people quitting mid home run.

They will NEVER penalize someone for this as it's to fine if a line to determine if it's an actual dashboard or a connection loss.

I personally don't really want them to start penalizing people for quiting. By all means, if nothing is going on and you let the ball land go ahead leave, I have no problem with people who quit after letting a ball land and count on the scoreboard. As a safeguard though I just wish SDS would reward the player who stayed in the game with some extra PXP to make up for any that they lose because of their opponent quiting. I don't see that as being too hard to implement nor it breaking the PXP system.

While I see your point..... Here is my point.

You're playing online against a human opponent. Going into this matchup you know there is a chance that your opponent may quit mid hit.

Why should they award you extra PXP when you're taking that chance?

If you're concerned about losing PXP; obtain it offline.

And if you're concerned about the bonus you get dor playing online; is it really worth it to gamble that your opponent won't dashboard?

Of course, the real fix would be to let the hit register as 99.9% of the time it's a 'no doubter' and it's 'known' by the CPU as soon as it's hit.

And I get your point. Me personally yea I could just grind offline but to me outside of conquest and such is I don't really grind offline. I find it boring and such, I play conquest to get the extra packs and I use who i want to parallel in those games, but when I'm done with conquest I want to play online and enjoy my time while using multiple different cards to parallel. For me personally I can't just go into play vs CPU and mindlessly play against the CPU. I want to play online so I can get a real taste of the cards swing, think about what my opponent is gonna throw and such. Makes it much more fun ya know?

Understandable. I don't like online that much but I still see myself playing Events and BR. Events mainly, like you stated, to parallel players/finish PXP Missions.

I could, and should, do them offline; but I also can't seem to have fun playing a 9 inning game vs the CPU.

Believe me; I 'gripe" when someone dashboards. But unfortunately I really don't see SDS doing anything about it.

No-doubt HR should be counted as soon as it is hit so at least we could get the points for that. I really don't understand what dashboarding actually do for anybody. It actually takes more time to play another game then just wait for the animation to end and then quit properly. Besides the fact that the dumb*** doing it must think "HeS NoT gOnNa GeT aNy ReWaRdS oN mE!!!! MUUUuH!!!!" it doesnt do anything..... I do quit games but I just quit via the menu when its available like grown ups do....

I just report them for bad connections. Not sure if it does anything but if enough people say the same thing maybe they could implement some sort of temporary ban. Nothing crazy. Two hours at most. It would solve the problem I would think.

Here is my problem, I did dashboard someone this weekend, Only did it once, When I am pitching and the ball is going in the dirt and then gets hammered for a HR by a guy with 70 power that is a problem. X player does not deserve that HR. If I miss my spot in the zone or just outside the zone yeah you will get that HR no problem. Not giving up undeserving HR. If someone dashboards on me, it is what it is. I find most people I played this weekend are not dashboarding, probably due to the innings for Randy Johnson.

If this is your take on when it’s ok to dashboard, do you dashboard yourself when you hit a HR on a pitch way out of the zone that you don’t deserve? If not, you’re part of the problem and your excuse isn’t valid.

OK, and what about programs that make it mandatory to play online to get certain cards? Too bad so sad?

Sorry, but as a weak hitter I get penalized badly when someone dashboards me. The last time set me back about a month. I shouldn't get penalized because someone else didn't want to let the home run stand.

I know full well what may or may not happen online, but when there is zero punishment for the abusers then it will never get better.

That does not happen. I have played over 20 games now and Only had that happen once against me. No I would not dashboard but I do not care if someone dashboards against me, I do not see it as a problem. If you want to complete missions and get PXP do it offline you take a risk playing online in RS. I do not even care if I win. I do have a problem that hitting is broken to the extent that players can hit pitches for HR that is unrealistic. This year so far has been light years better than the last few years. It is not a rage thing, it is not being mad or getting angry it is laughable that it still happens. I Dashboard and move on that is it. If I got penalized for it so be it, If it still counted for you so be it, I would still dashboard in that situation,
