I am a fan of pitchers; however, I am a tiny bit disappointed by this choice. Yes, it’s a great card, but there are players I would rather see. There are players who still don’t have a 99 or have a 99 on their card, but the attributes don’t warrant the name. I would like to have Mays, Verlander, Kenley Jansen, Gehrig. So not super excited, but it will be hard to hit, even though everyone has seen his delivery so many times this year. I know a lot of people wanted this, so I guess I don’t mind.

As of now there are over 2 billion stubs in line waiting for this card. Just under 1 billion for Trout. Might see some deflation with the rest of the market at this rate.

According to my economics 101 class, SDS needs to raise interest rates. Or lower them. One or the other. I can't remember.

Deflation usually isn’t a problem. And all those stubs sitting in queue aren’t part of the active market, so it’s the same impact as the Fed raising rates.

The market will come down as folks who are still playing complete the Mantle set.

At least half of the Randy orders are from those that will make world series anyway and either sell the extra if they already got him by then or pull their order. In due time we will see the orders start going through

I guess I was in a good place in line to buy Vlad Jr off market. I have all the legends and flash backs from 21. 22 is a different story most of it do to lack of time able to play as much as I did last year. I am about cards away from having all legends and flashbacks in 22. I do not think I will get them all this year but that is ok. I should be able to get Mantle in about 2 weeks just from flipping.

I have all but Randy at the moment. It really depends how engaged I am into the winter months as that's the only real reason I'm short Vlad Jr in 21

I played that event until I got him, then collapsed on the floor and didn't wake up until the evening 22 was released.

I am getting closer to Mantle, Mostly flipping and grinding out the Topps Now. Only need to do the June cards to finish it. I bought 7 Retro Finest yesterday just from flipping. I need 10 more of those. I am now grinding out the Post Season and Monthly and once that is done I will have Mantle. I am a lot closer than I thought I would be.
