Did the Astros really win it in ‘17?
lol negative. A lot of those guys had career years and just dropped off the next. Wonder why?
Houston players that year must have had some crazy active quirks such as sign stealer and mind reader.
They did. Sign stealing was a team quirk. How else did Marwin Gonzalez hit over .300 and not strike out 100+? Correa/Reddick hitting over .300. Unrealistic numbers for them at the time...or career.
Probably the most uneducated reply in this thread.
Any 5 minutes of research will show you that home/away splits for the entire team (outside of Marwin) were negligible.
How's Jomboy's dictate? (Word choice is by design)
They genuinely don’t think for themselves or do any other research, they probably also don’t know most of the playoff teams that year we’re doing some form of sign stealing.
Sign stealing has always been around but the way the Astros did it was cheating. The 2017 WS will always be tainted because of it.

Oh so they cheated better than the teams that also cheated. Good moral compass there. Still your 2017 and 2022 world champions. Like I said multiple players have came out and defended them on top of other teams being caught as well. Y’all really mad the Astros leveled the playing field

My first major year in DD was in 17 the show, the Astros won that year and I remember you could actually use the ticket vouchers to get extra packs if you guessed the winners of each series. They won it all and now that it’s the end and the Astros won again, I can’t think of a better time to end it. Sorry if I offended any of you or complained too hard. But I’m truly happy.
Are you the trash can guy?
There are some guys who had great years that year. Correa I think was the biggest benefactor in the cheating batted 315 that year. I actually wouldn't be suprised if they cheated in 2019 pretty much everyone had career years after then and then tanked Bregman, Springer, Gurriel

You don't think the trash can guy traveled with the team.
It is one thing for a pitcher to tip his pitches or for a team to figure out the signs for base stealing. Hell Rickey Henderson knew when a pitcher was going to throw home or try to pick off but its because he watched the pitcher and studied them. Studying a guys patterns is one things knowing when a breaking ball or a fastball is coming is down right cheatings.
Even if every team was cheating that post season. Only one to have something come out is the Astros so they are the poster child for cheating.

Nope because they concluded there was no evidence of cheating on the road. So no. And actually the Yankees and Red Sox have both been fined for cheating but yet here you are talking about the Astros, weird.

Now this is the most uneducated reply on this website. LOL why would I look at the entire team if some players came out and said they didn't want to know? If you put in an extra 5 minutes of research, you can see each player's split. The guys who generally hit for a low average somehow became a .300+ hitter at home. Prime example is Jake Marisnick and Reddick. Please explain how they became Ted Williams at home.

YanKees had a worse home road split if you look it up. Also Josh reddick never cheated if you know actually did research.

Guess what, yankees didn't win the WS in the years they got caught. Boston didn't cheat in the playoffs in 2018. And they definitely weren't as detailed as the stros were in 2017.

The Red Sox and Yankees had a smart watch. Astros had multiple coaches and managers and a guy banging a trash can in the stands.
Uh no, look up the 2018 Red Sox and the Yankees letter and come back to me when you actually do research.
You failed to mention that Beltran and Cora were related to those other teams when they were caught. Coincidence? I think not.
You just proved my point by saying that.
Guess what, yankees didn't win the WS in the years they got caught. Boston didn't cheat in the playoffs in 2018. And they definitely weren't as detailed as the stros were in 2017.
You actually can’t find footage of the Astros cheating in the playoffs either so what’s your point?
They moved to the buzzer. Why did they removed the monitor off the wall and make it portable during the playoffs? what's your point?
Literally none of that ever happened, you’re literally just making stuff up now.

He hit better on the road but okay! Another hater mad his team lost.
So no. And actually the Yankees and Red Sox have both been fined for cheating but yet here you are talking about the Astros, weird.

making stuff up, but yet Astro players told MLB about it. Sept. 22, 2017
