Outlier

What is up with outlier. For some reason, I’ve had no chance the past two days trying to hit 102. I will know it’s coming and can’t hit it. It will feel like I’m right on it and I swing through and the timing window will say too late.
Anything not outlier (or the speed differential for outlier pitchers when I’m trying to catch 102), I’m usually fine. 99 to 102 shouldnt be that big of a difference. Are the timing windows smaller on outlier, you think?
It’s just past coupes days for me, but I have no chance. Maybe I’m just off, who knows? But it’s bad. I tell myself after swinging, “How did I not hit that.”

I do think timing windows are smaller. It’s a bit mysterious because sometimes it seems like you are right on a pitch but then, while swinging, it feels like you are swinging underwater.
Maybe this has to do with numbers being crunched, or connection speed?

Not every 102 fastball is the same. Nolan Ryan has the hardest 102 fastball to hit when using him or going against him.
Espino and Gibson also have outlier 102 fastball and there not great for me when I use them or when I go up against them seems like I can time up a fast ball and see it a lot easier than facing certain pitchers like Ryan.

In the past, I might have had a game or two where I can’t catch up to it. I usually attribute that to me being tired or connection speed. This has been two straight days and playing at different times of the day.

Man, has this been a frustrating few days. I am not this early or late on these pitches. Can’t be. Feels like I’m right on them.

I swear it is the hardest thing to do on this game, to hit the 102. It's almost like you have to have a gaming monitor to be able to get a true look at it to catch up with it.

I have a harder time hitting pitchers with sinker, cutter, slider than someone with outlier fastball. Seems like the players that I play against hit the 102 outlier pretty well now also since we face it all the time. I prefer to face those type of pitchers like Ryan unless the guy knows how to mix in the sinker well also.
