14 for 23 from the 3 point line would be great

Now imagine hitting 14 home runs on 23 hits.
That's what I just saw walk to the plate.
Can we tone down the gd cards in this game? We're at the point the game makes me want to puke.

That has more to do with the player than the card. Yah attributes help but a bad hitter isn’t going to have those stats even with max attributes across the board
-
I won’t blame that on a card, but in some ways, I do kind of agree. What if not every guy got a 99 (I know an overall rating doesn’t matter as much as the other attributes, but let’s use it as a general reference). What if there were bigger gaps in player ratings? Like go lower for the barely-there major leaguers and have only the best of the best get maxed out. I know it helps with lineup diversity, but what if there was a little more differentiation between players? I would kind of like it. Where Teoscar Hernandez and Paul Konerko are not as good or better than, say, a Tony Gwynn and Lou Gehrig.
I was thinking of this as I was doing Twins hits. I went back to Buxton (a 97, gasp). And I thought that it was refreshing to use someone not a 99 and maybe more in tune with how he was actually playing t at the time instead of making everyone blown-out juiced. Just feel like more differentiation between players would be good.

Like you say tho, the tough thing with that is then people that want to run top lineups would all be running the exact same team. I know they won’t do it but going back to 99 being the max for at attribute would be the best option I think. When that was the case a few points actually made a big difference.

I firmly believe they did this because, although they said hitting was working as intended, the offense was way down. So release a bunch of guys with 125s across the board, but no pitcher is 125 across the board, and they now injected some offense into the game. I also agree the pendulum has swung too far now, though.

Correct. I think going back to the 99 attributes is the solution as well. I couldn't quit this game fast enough if only the inner circle HOF's got 99s(as I did in 18)

Playing w imperfect is more fun.
I have enjoyed the 93 Gwynn more than the 99
Same so far for the 94 K Givson iver the 99 finest
I find playing with a team rated 85 is just more enjoyable vs the cpu
