Anyone else tried Mookie out of position at short? I used Hank there all of last event and he didn’t make a single error in the 25ish games I played (also hit like .670 somehow) but in this event I’ve already made 2 costly errors on routine grounders with Mookie at SS. I know it’s not encouraged, but with a MIF secondary already and still a silver shield I didn’t expect it to be that bad or worse than Hank by any means.

I bet with his 99 fielding and arm he is super

I tried Brett there and he made most of the plays but couldn’t turn a double play. He just had a weird animation where he caught the ball then paused and then lobbed it to first. I think that’s good though. There should be that kind of penalty for playing someone completely out of position.

When I stopped playing NHL HUT years ago they introduced cards that allowed you to switch a players position.
Left wing to center. Center to right wing. Etc.
I can see something similar coming. They've already made attributes useless. Positions are next.

Positions are already useless. I played a team where he had Frank Thomas in left field and he made two diving catches, and Kyle Lewis at second base and he made plays that Sandberg and Morgan could only dream of.
It is already way beyond arcade. Soon it will be just random button mashing to win.

I play Mookie at second most of the time, but also PH with him and keep him in to pitch. Usually he can strike out the side with my current button mashing strategy.
