Finally bought him, again, for 230K the other day.
I now see he is up to 300K.
If I sell him that's at least 30-40K in profit.
Any chance he gets replaced as a Top 5 pitcher?
It depends on who you pitch best with. Finest may knock him out at the end of the year. Plus Kershaw, Verlander, and many other Pitchers didn’t get their best card. What is the overall on Sale’s Retro lightning card? Only asking because he usually gets a very good 99.

I should also note i'm not sure what SDS will do with the chase packs at the end of the year say around late December when the packs get reduced in price and we start seeing bundles. I wonder if we might see a chase pack set. At the very least the 50 packs will be reduced in price.

Honestly; I've only used him in a few BR games, Event games, and offline. Not near the console now to get his stats.
I normally don't like pitchers that only have four pitches. But figured I would try him.
I'm just wondering if it's wise to tie up 270K in him or sell him and use that towards cards that I need to get Brett and maybe Cutch.
Yes, I'll eventually need to get him back; but I'm sure I can make those stubs back.
I'm selling off my LOTF players, as I get the packs, (just got my second AL Central pack) with the intention of buying them back later when they drop or get thrown into other reward paths.
I'm even thinking of dumping the 8 FOTF players I have, for about 160K, just for the same reason and if I don't get them later; that will be the voucher I skip.
Just figuring stuff out. Lol

I cannot pitch with Nolan Ryan, I can also not hit against Nolan Ryan, thus I hate Nolan Ryan

When I've had the chance to use him online; I've started with the offspeed stuff then come on with the FB.
But I'm sure an excellent hitter would destroy him when I pitch with him.

Ryan is one of those pitchers where either you totally dominate someone with him or you run into somebody that crushes everything you throw and he's out in the first inning. It seems like there is no in between with him. I fall into the category where if I face him, I'm going to be lucky to score a run.

Shawn I see you are all about stubs. Pick who you want and stick with them. I've had Ryan since he came out and he's never leaving my starting
rotation regardless of who else comes out. I almost have him to P5 using him every 5 days lol -
I have kept him, only because Nolan was one of my favs growing up AND this year they gave him a dominant card. I do see his price declining eventually as he gets pulled more and packs become cheaper. Finest pitchers will definitely surpass him. Degrom, Sale, Verlander, Alcantra, Burns still have upgrades coming. I stink hitting against Nolan but I feel like he will eventually get easier as more people use him and face him. Randy is still great but he has gotten easier to hit the more I have faced him. I figure Nolan will be the same.
