When do some of you stop 'pressing your luck' and call it a night?
-
In the middle of a 5-1 BR run.
Started off 3-0 and then matched up with someone who had my number to give me my first loss.
Normally, I would just restart getting a loss that fast; but wanted to see how close I could get to the 4000 PXP in one run mission.
Well, after winning my last two games I am now 5-1.
Debating if I want to call it a night or keep going until I lose.
When do you normally stop for the night?

If I'm "hot", I have a hard time stopping. I stop when 92 MPH fastballs are blowing past me. That's when I know I'm too tired and out of gas.

I usually call it a night when I shut my eyes for just a second in the first inning and then next thing you know my PlayStation is in rest mode and I don't know where I am for a minute

I start yanking the PCI

Thanks all. I played two more game and matched up with someone who probably just didn't give a crud about the game. Scores 5 runs on him in the first inning.
He did mount a comeback; but I ended up winning. Thought for sure I got the rest of the 4K in PXP to get that 10pts; but was 72 PXP short.
So I played another one with the mindset that even if I stayed losing; I would finish it out to get the 72 in PXP.
Actually won that game and called it a night.
Now trying to figure out if I want to keep this run going (7-1) best I've done so far to see if I can win the next two or forfeit to get new Mission players as the three that I have now are finished.
I may try for that 9 wins mark. One plus is I drafted RF Wood; but I used him the last game.

I was 6 games into a run and nearing the XP in one run total. I warm up a couple pitchers and then THOUGHT I was going back to the game. The timer is running down and I thought it was my opponent. I’m just sitting there waiting, watching MNF and then I forfeit the game. Knew it was time to call it a night. So mad at myself. I was so close to that 4K XP to finish that mission and now I have to come back and start over. Ugh.
Hate to say, the most frustrating end to a frustrating day overall playing BR.

When my wife walks in and sighs for the 2nd time. That’s usually my cue to call it a night

Does your wife watch "The Bachelorette"? If so, come over and we can have a play date.

When I quit games I’m winning, that’s when I know I’ve had enough lol

I’m the king of playing one too many so don’t ask me. Whether I’m riding a heater or considering trying to get one back after losing, 80% of nights I end up playing one too many. I’ll feel ok to start, then I can tell I’m a step slow and I probably lose that last game most of the time. Can’t help myself.
