Moments....put them here and be rid of your demons

I'm usually good with pitching Moments, but I failed the 7 Inning one in the second inning, and haven't tried again unless I need the points.
-
Just wondering if anyone else thinks pitch 6 or 7 innings is a moment. I need to check the definition for a moment.

I certainly don't. It is definitely an incident or an event, but it isn't a moment. A moment is a very brief period of time, and 2/3 of a game isn't brief.
-
On the cosmic scale, everything is just a moment in time..

D-Day was a moment in time and that lasted much longer than 7 innings. You guys and your short attention spans.
Unless you use a different dictionary than an English one, D-Day was more an interval or event in time, not a moment. Moments are very short periods of time.

How many have put the last Moment in the postseason program here (Musgrove, 7 IP, <2 H)? I’m so tired of getting to the 5th or 6th and then giving up the hits.
How is pitching 7 innings even a freaking moment anyway? It’s more than 2/3 of a game!
I saw it and said immediate hard pass

Well the dictionary definition states a very short interval of time OR the formal definition of an important moment in time.
This would fall under important, therefore making it a moment.
Websters? Lol

Gotta read the whole definition and not just cherry pick the information you want to put out there.
You need to use a reputable English dictionary, my friend.

Using your dictionary...second part of the second definition..."a time of excellence or conspicuousness"...third definition..."importance in influence or effect"...
The 7 innings pitched by Joe Musgrove in a Wild Card game and allowing only one hit against a team that won 101 games in the regular season would probably qualify as "a time of excellence" and/or "importance in influence or effect" in that post season game!

This Jake Cronenworth Moment with his weak bat and seems to always just fly out instead of a liner to the gap is not fun!
As usual, say something here and all of a sudden you get what you need!

These are the worst.
I just pitched 5.2 in that Kyle Wright “moment” only to give up a two out two strike wall scraping home run to Kyle Schwarber on a well located slider off the plate down and in.
I swear some SDS programmer somewhere is laughing his a$$ off.
Ridiculous. The only thing this succeeded at was making me stop playing the game in disgust.
Now if I were a programmer, I would try to avoid that.

By the time I get finished with Confirm Restarts, I don't really want to play the game any longer. More times than not, I just turn it off and go to something else. Some folks dig Moments; I'm not one of them. As stated above, they make me stop playing the game. If the goal is to keep people playing, it's not an effective method to use these poorly developed 'moments' that lasts 5 to 6 innings.
