Just wondering if anyone else thinks pitch 6 or 7 innings is a moment. I need to check the definition for a moment.

    These are the worst.

I just pitched 5.2 in that Kyle Wright “moment” only to give up a two out two strike wall scraping home run to Kyle Schwarber on a well located slider off the plate down and in.

I swear some SDS programmer somewhere is laughing his a$$ off.

Ridiculous. The only thing this succeeded at was making me stop playing the game in disgust.

Now if I were a programmer, I would try to avoid that.

Moments suck. That being said, why would you ever throw a slider down and in to a 125 power guy who's opposite handed?

    Play stupid games...

All pitching moments, just hard high and in, junk low and away, and it's a wrap.

The pitching multiple innings moments may be easy for some, but the real annoying bit is how long it takes versus the reward. You put in 15 minutes to move a few pips up the chain. Really makes you feel the grind, which isn't great. Other then these, I don't mind moments. I actually like "re-living" these accomplishments.

Moments have run their course. They make me despise the game. SDS needs some new ideas.

I do appreciate how The Show has made cards largely accessible to grinders who don't want to play online or spend money. Kudos to them. You can't have everything, and whatever else you think of the game it certainly doesn't funnel you towards microtransactions the way other sports games do...you can offline grind and get a god squad, and that's saying something.

I dunno, having max confidence in the pitch and aiming it six inches in off the plate usually is fine. This was one of those times where the game just decided it was going to beat me.

Fair enough. Don't forget, you can walk guys in a lot of these moments. The recent ones are just about not letting a run score...

You know, I kept that in mind the next time. Unless it’s a no-hitter type moment, you’re right. Sometimes walking the guy the cpu has chosen for a 10 pitch at bat is not the worst outcome.

What if they gave us the specific XP per stat towards other programs that we complete in the Moments? Like the Hit 1 HR moments also counted toward the Judge and Moonshot programs...

I did the Wright mission on the fifth try. It would be easier now considering the person who got me 4 times was a supercharged Bryson Stott

Just let me pay 500 stubs, 1000 stubs or <insert stub amount here> as an option to bypass the 'Moment'. Play those I want; pay for those I don't want and especially the one super tedious 'Moment' that is presented in each set, it seems. Take your pick. 1 AB for 3 points or pitch 6 innings and hope the CPU doesn't hit that 0-2 slider 14 inches off the plate for a blazing gap shot that kills the 'Moment' in the last inning.

For the most part, they're simple enough, but there's always one......

My three suggestions to improve moments:

    1. truly recreate the moment. Put the team and players out there that were involved. If they don’t have the rights, then “make up” a player. Along with this, recreate the stats from that moment. Use that particular box score for re-creation. If I need 3 hits with Roberto Clemente on a day he went 5-5, then give me a Roberto card that reflects a 5-5 day.

2). Give me a choice on the difficulty I want to play a moment on. Give me corresponding rewards based on that difficulty. If I choose to do a moment in rookie, give me 100XP. If I chose Legend, then give me 500XP.

3). Reward perfect swings in hitting moments. Perfect/perfect should ALWAYS satisfy the requirement, if a single hit ( homer, XBH, etc) is needed. No exceptions.

Release me from the demons of the Wheeler 5ip moment. Gave up 2nd hit in 5th on first try, don't want to try again.

Me too. 8th and 9th place hitters were up next!
    I'm like: '7,8, & 9 are up next inning, I'm good.'
    Nope!
I did pass it next try though.

These would improve things, but also I hate things that are solely locked behind moments. Such as Topps Now, even if you do the collection, you still have to do all the moments to get to stage 2.

Every program should have at least one or two cheap exchanges so we can skip at least one moment. Some programs have this, but they need to be added to all of them so we aren’t forced to do every single moment

I agree with the pay to skip any moment. I get them done but there are some that take far too long and I have a limited time each day to play this game. A prime example of this is "hit a homerun with Jasson Dominguez " , it took over 20 tries and by the time I completed it, I turned the game off.

The Anthony rendon daily moment is impossible. 51 power and a contact hitter.

    Very funny.
