D-Day was a moment in time and that lasted much longer than 7 innings. You guys and your short attention spans.
Unless you use a different dictionary than an English one, D-Day was more an interval or event in time, not a moment. Moments are very short periods of time.
Well the dictionary definition states a very short interval of time OR the formal definition of an important moment in time.
This would fall under important, therefore making it a moment.
Gotta read the whole definition and not just cherry pick the information you want to put out there.
You need to use a reputable English dictionary, my friend.

Using your dictionary...second part of the second definition..."a time of excellence or conspicuousness"...third definition..."importance in influence or effect"...
The 7 innings pitched by Joe Musgrove in a Wild Card game and allowing only one hit against a team that won 101 games in the regular season would probably qualify as "a time of excellence" and/or "importance in influence or effect" in that post season game!

This Jake Cronenworth Moment with his weak bat and seems to always just fly out instead of a liner to the gap is not fun!
As usual, say something here and all of a sudden you get what you need!

Just wondering if anyone else thinks pitch 6 or 7 innings is a moment. I need to check the definition for a moment.
These are the worst.
I just pitched 5.2 in that Kyle Wright “moment” only to give up a two out two strike wall scraping home run to Kyle Schwarber on a well located slider off the plate down and in.
I swear some SDS programmer somewhere is laughing his a$$ off.
Ridiculous. The only thing this succeeded at was making me stop playing the game in disgust.
Now if I were a programmer, I would try to avoid that.

By the time I get finished with Confirm Restarts, I don't really want to play the game any longer. More times than not, I just turn it off and go to something else. Some folks dig Moments; I'm not one of them. As stated above, they make me stop playing the game. If the goal is to keep people playing, it's not an effective method to use these poorly developed 'moments' that lasts 5 to 6 innings.

Funny, i just got a single by Segura, struck out the P for out 2 then Schwarb hit a 1 hopper off the wall for an rbi double.

Were you also in the 6th inning with 2 out?

Yes, K ' ing the pitcher was out 2.(in inning 6)

Seems kinda interesting that LS silver Schwarber does it with 6.2 in the bag. If I do this moment again, I might walk him with two out in the 6th.
Ridiculous.
-
Ok so does SDS play test these moments at all?
Trying to hit a home run with Juan Yepez, I swear the COU strike frequency slider must be all the way to the left.
Sliders need to go. Make the game play how it plays. The idea that these sliders get tweaked this way that way constantly is just bad.
I remember why I didn’t buy the game this year.
-
Add me to the hating Wright moment. First try, Wheeler hit a HR on the last at bat. Second try, Wheeler led off with an opposite field single to start the last inning and Schwarber hit a double down the 3rd Base line on a late hit and the left fielder misplayed it and Wheeler scored from 1st. Cant make this [censored] up.

I gave up hits to the 7th place then 8th place hitter, then Wheeler hits an rbi single, first pitch.
Really? I went to play NHL '23 immediately -
I think there is programming to make Schwarber impossible to get out on the third time through.
And what is it with Wheeler hitting like a champ? I’m glad this one is over.
-
I intentionally walk the first batter most ending to get to the stretch bc it speeds up the moment. Took 3 tries and just walked around the guys I was most afraid of. Sometimes you get a timely DP or a useless bunt out
-
Yordan Alvarez postseason moment. The guy swings a noodle bat. I need his monthly award card! Holy moly. 10 times. Nothing but lazy fly balls to center or ground balls to second.
-
Can I add the Giancarlo Stanton moment now too? He is the reincarnation of rod Carew in my moment. 10 times. He’s 8-10 with 8 line drive singles/doubles.
Ridiculous.
