I don’t understand

Does anyone else understand the ranked match players that are like barley 10 games over a .500 winning record with 200+ games played…..and they are batting .400+ with outrageous hitting statistics with every player in their lineup?
3 games in a row I’ve gotten whooped by these guys. Time to drink

My best guess is they pad those stats on AS in BR or Events, but play a lot of Ranked on HoF?
Or, they boosted with another user to parallel their cards faster?

I am assuming this is on all star. Some players just forfeit all their games to play on all star only. Thus the ok record with great hitting stats. I played a guy just a couple of games ago and he had almost all .400 hitters. Fortunately we were playing on HOF and he didnt get a hit until the 7th inning. I still lost because I couldn't hit for the life of me either.

Probably someone that is much better than weak hitters like me but considered weak compared to the top tier players. That allows that person to get lots of stats against half the players but gets the loss when playing the other half. Possibly someone who as soon as they fall behind instantly quits?
I had a guy yesterday playing on the show 20, who had me shut down for the first 5 innings of the game, but I was able to shut him down as well, so with the game tied in the 9th he asks for the friendly quit, but there was no way I was quitting after getting close to completing requirements for 2 programs and losing that. I then hit the next pitch for a walk off homer and he quit before it landed costing my batter the homer.
