I'm notoriously bad with my batting timing (at least that was my biggest challenge in 19) but I'm playing a "small ball" RTTS player and I get P/P from time to time (actually more than I expected). Not sure if it is more or less difficult depending on the type of player you have (part should be your actual timing of when you press the button, so that should NOT depend on the attributes of your player, I guess)

It’s both, timing/accuracy if you use pci, plus vision rating improves the odds. According to pre-release stream, p/p should occur approx 2% of swings, going by beta stats

I thought I was the only person out here playing "Small-Ball" archetype 🙂

I always play small ball and name him after my favorite player ever - Pokey Reese. I was the same type of player he was. Great glove, fast, decent contact hitter. I can't imagine not having a fast player, so there's really only one other archetype I would even consider, but I also couldn't stand being bad at fielding.

I've gotten it several times. Only a couple that were homeruns though, the rest were P/P liners to the outfield. I'm a power hitter this time and I strike out a TON which pisses me off, but I got called up to the majors and am hovering between hall of fame + and legend + on dynamic difficulty.

Honestly I expect to get shipped back off to the minors after this season...my average is terrible, my average with risp is terrible, and I have almost as many HR as I do RBI. SMH
