So confirmed on Twitter, it’s a Prime Lou Gehrig aka a watered down version
Maybe I’m wrong on it being watered down but what’re the odds they give us the 99 he deserves given how they’ve done Griffey, Mays, Mantle
Doesn’t really matter they will all get a 99 finest card that is juiced.
-
If he is getting a 99 Prime with an eventual better one, do you think Ortiz will get another card as well?

Everyone is getting a juiced 99 most likely, SDS is feeling like Oprah “you get a retro finest 99, and you get a retro finest 99”.

Lou will be great
I’m sure it’ll be a good card, but probably not his best 99
Its really tough to say because Griffey and Mantle got 2nd Half cards, which we knew already wasn't the best they could get, and Mays was a Takashi, which they can put any attributes they want on (Prime etc. all have formulas they use) While Prime/Sig/Milestone/Awards aren't as good as Retro Finest, there is a better chance this is Gehrigs top card than Mays. Papi's prime card is basically just as good as all his other ones were

Question, why would prime be watered down? Isn't it the best 3 year stretch of a career?
1934 - 1936 would be a great card.
HR's = 49, 30 and 49
AVG = .363, .329, .354
RBIs = 166, 120, 152
Walks = 109, 132, 130
SO = 31, 38, 46
OPS = 1.172, 1.049 and 1.174And don't see how it could be anything but his end game card.

Pirates have 30 flashback and legend cards which puts them in a 5 way tie for 4th most. Interestingly, even though the Yankees have 17 more flashbacks and legends the pirates have more 99 overall cards. In fact, the Pirates are tied with the Orioles for most 99's in the game so far.

They hardly have anyone left to boost, unless they do another Kiner or Parker.

First Boss looks like it's Lou Gehrig. 2x MVP, HoF lefty at Yankee stadium. Any guess how many bosses this program will have? Any henchmen?
No thanks on another 1b right now

They probably will do it for one of them and then you have whoever they choose for the Finest card.

Hi, my name is Bonds, Barry Bonds. I may have left my heart in San Francisco but I've still got you on speed dial.

There will be henchman, and I'm guessing they are going back to 5 bosses(they line up the twitter reveals as 1 a day leading up to release. That said, only 5 players fit. Banks(who was already in a program), Morgan, Yount, Gehrig, and Walter Johnson if the are trying to trick us. I really just don't see Lou when I look at this picture though even if it makes the most sense. I'll go Yount here
So they aren’t gonna reveal the last boss until the at after the program launches?

They definitely will do another Kiner and most likely a Parker. We'll also get a 99 Honus I'm sure.

Alright, my guess is there will be 4 bosses. I'm going with:
Lou Gehrig (obviously)
Bob Gibson
Vida Blue
Joe Morgan -
I think Billy Wagner is the next boss. 7x All Star, Orange silhouette lefty. Thoughts anyone?

You would be correct. There is only 2 left handed 7x allstars on orange teams in the game and the other one you can get for 15 event wins.
I'm proud of you Eric you are getting better at this
