New Showdown / Conquest

Seen a lot of posts about the new showdown being difficult. I did end up beating it on my first try, but it was sweaty. Also, that conquest map.... well the AI was obviously ramped up and super aggressive. I'd simulate a 35-6 and lose like 17 fans..
Anyways, think they're just doing this to prep us for Extreme drop on Friday so we don't just all [censored] our pants ?

Could be. I didn't find the showdown difficult either but they are all easy compared to the showdowns the first 3 months of MLB 20. I was saving the conquest map until after extreme comes out to help with the P5 mission so can't really speak on that

The map was aggressive but still easy to finish. You will have no problem completing it in a timely manner.

The showdown with Percival was not fun. I do not remember him having a 22 mph difference from fastball to change up, but he made my hitters look foolish. I was sitting on fastball at 101 only to get a 79 change up at 59 1/2 feet. Fortunately, like on the 3rd or 4th attempt, Jose Ramirez caught a high FB for my only run needed.

Very aggressive CPU in the Conquest map. So far I've been forced to play all games on All Star.

I felt the same way and almost went through with it lol finally beat Pedro on the 7th try. Showdowns are usually a breeze but this one was very difficult.
