About 2 days away from Mantle my online record is 0-0 have only tried the free showdown, and 1 entry event won 6 games. Still have my free BR entry. All offline so far because last year was matched up vs Little Billy all the time. Practicing patience and just enjoying off-line so far. Grinding MTO.

I love that the game has never had as high of a skill gap as it does now, yet people think SDS is pandering to those of no skill...
Pitch speeds are fast, PCIs are small, and bad pci placement is not rewarded.
Maybe you all aren’t near as good as you thought you were.
Bad PCI placement is not rewarded??? Look at each of these hits and look at the feedback then come back and say the same thing.

I’m doing the same, no way I’m touching RS right now with how they tuned this game after early access weekend to cater to Billy. I am playing Online Rated though just to get my online fix. It’s just as bad, if not worse.

How can you even argue that when good timed balls in the PCI are constantly producing okay or popped up contact, while early/ ball under PCI is hitting bombs.
That’s an exaggeration. Actual good timing swings with center pci placement consistently puts out perfect/perfect or good/squared.
The “Good” timing label is so large that often swings that really aren’t good get labeled as so. That’s what is causing the okay contact to come into play.
For example, I’ve been jammed inside and the ball I hit goes straight to CF, yet that gets labeled as “good” timing. That’s actually terrible timing, yet others would take a screen shot and then go tweet it out to complain.

Lmfaoo wonder how demise feels about this...
But I'd say the pitching and lineouts to 1b and 3b are bigger easier fixes atm and would help with hitting some, fixing the good okays is prob a bigger fix
