Yellow Contact Circle Doesn’t Appear When Using Analog Hitting
-
I know 90% of the player base will never encounter this issue because most everyone uses the PCI-button press hitting. For whatever reason, I’ve just always had better luck using the pure right analog stick timing specific hitting controls. I play the game on Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series S and on all consoles, the yellow circle that shows where you swung the bat in the after pitch breakdown graphic is completely absent with this specific hitting input. It makes it hard to adjust pitch to pitch as you don’t get to see why weak contact was made which can make the difference between a fly out and a perfect perfect home run. This wasn’t an issue in last year’s game, and it is just generally frustrating.
I doubt this will really get any traction, but I figured I’d still post it here in hopes that someone at SDS will see it. I’m not sure why this issue has popped up but I couldn’t imagine that it would be terribly difficult to fix seeing as it wasn’t a problem in previous releases but who knows.

The only thing you can adjust using analog hitting is your timing. You can't adjust the PCI.
