Baseball Gods finally on my side
-
First post happy to be here. So to start I recently got into DD around mid June after years of Franchise and RTTS. Loved the card collecting aspect and was especially hype to see my boy Schwarber in the monthly awards. Little over a month later and I’m in too deep after this All Star program, but have messed around and developed what I feel is a pretty solid squad between monthly award and all star cards. Still waaaay behind on all my collections, I’ve all but given up on Jackie Brett and Cutch. Slowly grinding away at the LS for the mustache man, just finished the AL East so about to try out Mussina. All this to say, I finally got into conquest. I don’t know what took me so long but saw enough shark map youtube videos and decided to try it out. Awful luck on most of the packs besides a Tim Anderson and Will Smith pull on a BOOC. The HRD pack was much more kind. Now the question, do I enjoy the sweet riches of selling Juan Soto or hit home runs with him until my thumbs bleed.

If you’re not planning on getting Jackie anytime soon, I would sell Soto now. There will be more of those HRD packs on the way in the next programs/conquests. Plus with Griffey on the way, he’ll probably be a bench bat for most god squads running Griffey, JRod, and Cutch.
Plenty of more affordable options that will be just as good while you’re trying to build your squad/stack stubs.

I’d sell and use the Stubbs to bang out as much if the live series collection as you can. There’s still useable cards- Utley, Frank, Clemente, Keuchel etc
-
The only reason I would try to complete the LS collection is if you want Cutch or the collection that comes after him. Way too many stubs to lock in when you’re not going to use many of them, if any besides Randy. And much more affordable and equally as good of cards that you can at least sell when you’re done with them outside of the LS collection

Yeah I’m running MA Yordan, AS Judge, and MA Carp as my outfield rn and they are definitely getting the job done for me. Thanks for the replies, sending Soto back into the economy.
