Few thoughts for future editions of DD SDS…
-
1.. When playing a moment that is indicative on hitting as a team with no pitching goals, why are we pitching? Focus on what the moments are for. It’s wasted time to have to pitch multiple innings when the goal is 4 team HRs in a game
-
When you have a pitching moment where one of the goals is no longer attainable (1 up and 3 k but someone just grounded out, for example), the moment should end immediately like it would if you gave up a run or a hit.
-
When you have a batting moment where the goal is some type of a hit and the game walks you or hit you by a pitch, this should be a time where the moment resets itself and you start over without having to go to the exit screen. You walked. The game did not give you the chance to even challenge the goal and now you have to start the whole thing over again.
-
More options on team design and development. The Jersey styles are extremely limited. The font styles are laughable. The Red Sox and old Brewers fonts are in yet nothing else. The rest range from meh to trash…
-
The lighting on the logos and fonts are horrible when shiny vs. screened. And the fonts are always on shiny. Really hope they do something about that too.

Technically in #2 your goal is still attainable with the situation you gave. You can strike a guy out, catcher doesn't catch it and you don't get him out as he runs to 1st after the swing and miss. Rare it happens but still a chance.

Just be happy in Pitching Moments where you need to pitch multiple innings or get alot of strikeout that we no longer have to bat when the pitcher is up.

Didn’t work out for me. Didn’t count as a strikeout if he made it to first.

Nah because that was the argument at one point and change was made based on feedback

Wanting the game to restart the moment when it is really easy to do it yourself in a matter of seconds would, to me, be a waste of resources.
I agree with #1. I am really happy we no longer have to hit with our pitchers in pitching moments so the opposite should also happen.
