Braves sword chop removed?

If their team name was the vikings, would it be racist?
Also, I have a very difficult time believing that the bad mfers that were Native American warriors (aka Braves) would be so soft as to be offended by baseball players and fans, many of the of Native American descent, imitating a tomahawk chop. They do it because Native American warriors were awesome and tough! What has happened to our society that so many people believe this is racism?!

Well some people think serving watermelon is offensive and racist. Even though I love that fruit. It's over reactionary histeria.
