Mini Seasons, it's no longer just the Whales and Cats.

Now every team other than the Singers has a stacked roster or at least mid 90s pitchers. Look I get it, it's still the computer but even on rookie, this is way more challenging than your average offline mode.
I wish we had the ability to choose how challenging this mode was (even on rookie, the teams are all stacked, the defense is full of superheroes and the pitchers dot), I think rookie should still have 2 great teams, 3 medium teams and 2 awful teams.
Now, I have opened the gates for ridicule. I freely admit I'm not very good at the gameplay aspect of this game as I'm still new and it's the first and only video game I've played since college. Any tips to hit better other than get good are appreciated.
Anyway, I'm not looking to complain. I still win all my games that I play on rookie or Veteran, but I really don't hit much.
So how is Mini Seasons playing for you all?
Also, what are some ways they could add to it, keep it fresh, integrate it into other programs? I really dig the set of missions they have now as they encourage you to really mix up your rosters which is my favorite aspect of DD.

Yo should add real teams filled with legends flashback of that team

You mean, create rosters of a specific team like say the Red Sox and just put players who have played there in the past or currently?

Yeah last one
Redsox with Ortiz, Rice, Awards bogaerts and so on
Let's us play those legends squads should be more fun then these fantasy teams

This might be helpful, pci is too big on Rookie and won’t let you go as far as you’d like to cover the corners and do real damage, look for mistake pitches hanging in the middle

Oh I see, thought you meant us the player. Yeah, I'd love to have the switch out the teams and do an all great Red Sox, Cards, Dodgers etc.

Would you say it's a little easier to hit consistently on Vet or All Star? I have no problem on any other mode. But Mini seasons I've won 3 straight games 1-0.

I have enjoyed mini-seasons lately. My biggest complaint about playing offline stuff is how much easier and/or different it plays compared to online h2h.
Mini-Seasons however, has similiar rosters that you'll face online and the difficulty is more like online h2h than say conquest or vs cpu. I love this new addition to this game!

I picked up a long time ago that SDS knows people have serious God Squads by now, so they upped the ante in Mini-Seasons by improving cpu teams.
They didn't want the mode to be a joke difficulty-wise.
I agree though that rookie should be rookie and so on, but our drastically improved teams are the reason.
It is annoying that some legend players are on more than one team. That's a bit unrealistic. -

Last year they didnt have that, they had it the 2 years prior to that though.

Pretty easy on vet even with the high diamond teams.
The trick to hitting isnt necessarily to take a lot of pitches cause the cpu will just yank them after 3 batters, but to not chase pitches out of the zone and to look for a pitch you know you hit well, then hit it.
I havent been undefeated yet but ive been close, and there are plenty of games that are 1-0 or go extras for me, just focus on winning the games. -

I had only lost 3 games having played out the full season (normally I quit the games I dint need but I wanted to use one roster and see what my stats were). You know, nerd stuff. Anyway, my last 12 games I didn't score more than 3. Then in the semi finals I ended up scoring 23 runs in a 3 game sweep. Wild how they come in bunches.
I win the games, just don't complete the missions quickly. I also haven't tried the one on legend but I think I will when the season resets.
Thanks all.

I think Aaron and Austin Nola should always be on the Pinheads no matter what.
-
Well it doesn't matter really. On rookie Mini Seasons is easy. I go undefeated every time regardless.
The only problem is the bugs after you finish.
-
My real issue with mini seasons is that the cpu team will throw the exact same pitchers throughout the series with no loss in energy. I can face the god squad Randy Johnson 2-3 times in a row. It’s one thing if the team is just putting him out there again but he’s still in green. I can’t do that with my pitchers.
