There needs to be a high price limit on cards.

I can already hear the groans, but in my view, the very high prices on a few cards (400k on Trout, for one) seriously hurts the game. And it gives some players a distinct advantage if they can and a disadvantage if they can't get all the live cards.
It's harder to get the specialty cards in the various programs and it should be. But to make the live series so expensive where you have to pay over $100 out of your real wallet is ridiculous and ruining the point of what MLB The Show is. This is a game. It should be a challenge to get some cards, but a 400k price basically makes it near impossible unless you're lucky enough to pull one in a pack. (And with the reports of pack luck lately, it is practically impossible.)
If there can be a low price barrier on cards, there should be a high price one as well. My suggestion would be 100k. I think that's something everyone can work around. I hope the powers that be will consider it for this year and definitely the future.

I have. But the live series cards still have a couple (Trout, Acuna to name two) that shouldn't have high prices like that. I know they've done a little to get them down. I've said before I think a 99 card for both of those will help, but the overall solution isn't just to pump out 99 cards. A 400k card really punctures the fun of the game. I should add I really love this game. It (along with Train Sim World 2) are my two faves with MLB The Show in first place. But it hurts the live series to have some cards basically impossible to get. The live series is the basic structure of the game. The cards shouldn't all be priced the same, but there shouldn't be such a huge hurdle to get them all.

If Trout were 100k at this point, you would be complaining that everyone and their mother was throwing out 99 Randy Johnson every game.
It's fine the way it is. Anyone that really wants Trout can either flip their way to 400K, or earn/sell enough cards to get him. The best live series card in the game shouldn't be a participation trophy.

There already is a max on those,but Trout is a 95,the max is pretty high on those.besides it's not Trout you are paying 400 k+ for, it's also glaus, young,frank,randy, and the sig series voucher for Brett.that probably is the biggest reason as to the cost of trout,you need at least 1 of the 3 cards in the al collection, 2 of them locked behind trout to get the voucher,and prior to the recent event (buhner)you needed 2 so trout was a must.trout will come down once they release enough sig series to complete with out him.

A Bugatti Chiron should have a max price of 60k, it gives some people a distinct advantage over others.

And, I would argue that the cap should be higher than they are now!
Open up the market even more!
I think the raise in caps should have been expected since they've added so many more users by expanding to XBOX and Switch.
