Like I've said before this is why I personally waited for the most part on that collection, even selling Randy Johnson 3x. It would not surprise me to see another program like the Big Dog/ or Always Extreme programs centering around the Takashi Series.

when we get there, they’ll be complaining that the next Collection after Brett requires XXX Finest cards when they’ll only be like 4 on the market.

They have definitely ramped up the Takashi cards which is great. You're right though, I'm sure a lot of people jumped the gun to get Babe.
Did you say other 5 bosses? There are 7 total? For some reason I thought they said 5.

I think on twitter when they revealed Fingers, it said the first of 5 bosses.

I won't be complaining about getting Ruth early on instead of waiting for prices to go down. That's the price you pay to finish any collection early. Same with Brett. Some more bronze, silver and gold flashbacks were released which make it easier and cheaper but I finished it early at a higher price. Brett has been the best player on my squad by far since I got him. I figure it will be the same when the "BIG" collection player is released. That's why I'm trying to collect every player I can before that. The All-Star collection will be tough because there's a bunch of them but everything else isn't so bad.

Easily my best player.
His online OPS (in 100+ AB) is over 2.100
My 2nd best hitter (with a good number of AB) is at like 1.450

It looks like the glove is the front arm which would make it a RHP but I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's another optical illusion like the fingers sillouette and say the glove is the back arm and it will be a LHP.
