Another way to screw players?
-
I just finished my season in MLB 21 and finished in the minors. I led the league in homers, RBI and doubles and was second in batting avg. The guy in front of me on the MLB roster is one point ahead of me.
I simmed the off season and was offered a contract as an MLB starter. Playing my first game in spring training, we lost power and my PS4 shut off. When I logged back on, it took me back to before the off season ended. The only contract offer I can now get is as a Triple A starter. What gives? I tried to reload 24 times and keep getting Triple A starter, something seems off to me.

Just sign it you will get in spring training, proof yourself and you will be called up

Actually this is the problem. I did sign it and I never got to play in Spring Training. This is my point. I want to prove it there, but I instead get sent back to the triple A team and don't get to participate at all in Spring Training.

I would chalk it up to bad luck and not any nefarious plan on SDS's part.
If I remember correctly it does not save during the simming of the offseason. So when you restarted if it had to sim again differences can happen. maybe the resigned a player or signed a free agent that they did not do on the first attempt.

Sadly this is the reality as nothing I've done works to even gets me into even participating in Spring Training.
