Card Flipping

I finally flipping some meaningful cards and make a good chunk of stubs today
-
I've never flipped cards, but is it time consuming? I just don't have 2-3 hrs a day to be sitting on the phone/tv. I'm thinking about trying it so I can complete the LS collection. I have 3 guys left. Trout, Belli, & Cole.

Last year I started flipping in May so card prices were down. This year it's been tough however I've been having better luck lately but everything is so close together so it's tough so far. It's just a matter of learning what to flip. it's not all about making huge money at once it's lots of little moves that start to add up. I was able to make about 30/40k yesterday. Collections help and don't cost much for commons/bronze cards because they give lost of XP and you can get cards to sell that way or even stubs.
-So you have been completing some of the collections for XP and rewards sake and making profit off of those? Interesting. I have completed all LS last two years but shied away this year thinking the only way to make stubs was to sell EVERYTHING not on my squads.
Yes, commons don't cost much (most don't cost more then 10/15 stubs and at most 30) and you get 200 stubs and 1000 XP for 10 of them so it adds up. Plus I know I want to finish collections eventually. I've also been flipping gold cards.
I make 40-80 on commons it takes time to find those.

Yes it can be time consuming. Done right it is worth the time.

Is it normal for there to be sudden large price drops? Last night quite a few couple other prospect cards really dropped in price. Matt Manning for example went from buynow 17k to 7k.... Not asking for any secrets, but I am just new to trying to card flip to save actual money and put together a non-terrible/somewhat competitive team... Getting stuck holding the bag when this happens really sucks, and not sure if I should hold for a rebound or if I am getting Bitcoin'd

They did a bunch of flash sales last night, sold prospect packs for 15k each, so it was inevitable they'd crash. You gotta make sure to pay attention to those types of things.

Ahhh that makes sense. I did see the flash sales and got a Jose Ramirez in the last diamond flash sale. Looks like a lot of diamond players prices rebounded but the prospects are still down... Didn't know they did that with prospects too since I missed all but the last one. Thanks for the tip!

The lack of being able to quick sell after collecting is hurting people. Higher number of people due to nothing else to do earning stubs. Lack of stud cards early (actually a very good thing IMO since last year there were way too many 99s right off the bat) has all lead to a weird market. Most live Diamonds are way lower then normal, guys who most years would be 50-90k are all in 20-30k range. I have found the best way to flip has actually been to do a high quantity of Bronze. I made about 3k stubs in a half an hour on Friday just flipping 3 bronze players in particular over and over. But tried my luck with higher cards and found it to be a waste of time.

This is also due to the prospect packs being the "hidden" prizes in the 2nd inning conquest. 3 packs total for free for those who complete it 100%
