    None of those dives look that unrealistic except catch 2 which is borderline meh

    Those are not the "sliding" dives. Those all look like good plays, and nice annimations. Give some props to the opponent instead of complaining about it.

    It's not so much the dive. It's how they bounce back up like Gumby so flawlessly, and fling a pea accurately.
    That rhymes, btw.
    Some did look legit, though.

    Well, I'll say a Takashi Smith card is really redundant for this game since almost everyone plays prime-Ozzie defense this year.

    And while they might have toned down penguin slides in the IF, baserunning is still too slow and fielding is way buffed over last year. Try tagging up against an average fielder with a fast runner on a semi-deep fly ball. Dare you.

    I don’t think he’s complaining about the animation, but more the fact that dives are successful 98% of the time regardless of who the defender is. Those outfield dives were on hard hit line drives. There’s almost no risk to diving unless you brutally mistime it or dive for a ball way out of reach.
    I like that dives are viable for once, but it is not balanced at all.

    I watched Pete Alonso Dive for a ball to his Right in the gap. And it was good 98+ MPH grounder. He looked like he had a Rocket on his back, shot 8 feet to his right, popped up like he was on a spring and hosed me. Most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Then when I dive for a foul ball with him he looks like his in a Belly Flop competition.

    It's not the dives in isolation. It's the dives in conjunction with fielders being frozen like stone statues on other plays AND frozen ropes going right at fielders a majority of the time AND tagging up being way less successful than it should be. The overall feel of this game in competitive mode is that you're getting hosed way too often.

    I just won a BR game and had to message the guy that it was the worst game I had ever experienced because of these issues.

    It would be nice if SDS could just program the game the way they want it and leave it for a couple cycles. We'd all have to eat [censored] and take it or leave it like we did before the "live service era."

    I agree with this statement. Just take the game or leave it, because at the end of the day, it's just a video game. Some of these jokers think everything about it should be what they watch on TV.

    That's really just a lost connection to reality. I suppose that's what you get when you have a generation raised on the screen.

    The fix was for guys that were slip-n-sliding 20ft on their stomaches in the infield. Not for anything that happened in your video.
