Pinpoint vs analog, is pinpoint worth the time?

I've yet to make the jump to pinpoint. I do pretty well on analog, so have never put in the time learn the mechanic.

My goal is to get to WS in ranked. I hover in the 700s mainly because I don't have the time to play enough games to climb the ladder. At HOF, I'm typically at a 2-1 w/l ratio.

My question is simply is it worth my time to master pinpoint to climb the ladder? My Era in HOF is 3-4ish with analog

Not necessary if you could pitch with pure analog you could still dot

Last year I think the benefit was there, but not this year. I have actually been experimenting with pure analog the past few days to see if I prefer it to pinpoint. Pinpoint is still great, but there are just random floaters that were not there last year.
