Finally completed LS!!

Randy Johnson is finally home after all the grinding. No $ spent all grinding mainly playing mini seasons.
Few questions though. 1, how is Roberto Clemente? Besides him and Frank Thomas there’s no one that I really see being an upgrade to my current players. I gave up on Chase Utley after over 200 plate appearances and stats weren’t good at all for me.
- I have a CAP who’s a 1st baseman and his stats are better than Thomas so again I’m screwed on using him. I wish Thomas had a secondary position but also is there any way I can change my CAP position and just have Thomas play 1B?

I have always played well with Clemente personally, and his attributes make him arguably the best player in the game at this point. Definitely give him a shot....I was surprised how much sneaky pop his bat has and his defense is unmatched.

I think people have said they made Clemente's swing better (quicker) this year. Last year I thought he was kind of underwhelming but I don't have him yet so I cant comment.
Regarding CAP...I dont think theres a great way to change them without creating a new ballplayer which kind of sucks since you need to re-grind out the base attributes. I made mine a 3B originally but he's got common fielding and I dont like that. Trying to find a decent build for a 3B or SS....or maybe even a 2B at this point since Acuna's price is making Utley a mere fantasy at this point.

Congrats! I tried Clemente for a bit but did better with Trout so left him in there. Utley is one of those players I see people are either great with him or a dud. I mostly use him but have started trying Joe Morgan for his speed and will likely go back to Utley. Give Thomas a try because with his power he's a huge threat at the plate and he smashes both lefties and righties.

Clements's attributes may look the best but he's not even in my lineup. He doesn't really perform that well for me at the plate. Big Frank's swing is horrible, most people cannot hit with him (including me). I use Delgado at 1B, Babe in RF, Acuna's LS in CF (I hit like a beast with him) , and Pujols in LF. I tried Reggie but couldn't hit with his card this year
And IMO Altuve (Monthly awards) and Blackmon (All star) have the best swings in the game so I frequently get them both in the game .

I will never use Utley. Dirty player IRL. Frank Thomas' swing has been cr@p for the past couple of years unfortunately.. I like the Joe Morgan card. I use him, I sometimes use Altuve's Monthly awards card, Sometimes Tatis at 2B or even Mookie. I hit just ok with Michael Young's card so I will use him at MI once in a while.
