Why would you guys put out the best game in the studios history and then just scale it back to the game you promised to improve??? I’m literally baffled by the decision to destroy the game?

It went from a classic to a dud.

Give us the game you gave us at launch. That’s what EVERYONE WANTS. improve the PITCHING from launch and put the hitting back and you can just keep releasing that game every year and it would never need to be improved mechanically.

Why are we always in beta mode with this game???? Why are you guys always adjusting things for the worse???

I think they're too hung up on the fact that they want this game to represent real baseball. If the scores in the game are 25-20 every game, because the hitting seems to be too easy, they have the urge to tone it down because that does not represent real baseball.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm on your side and I prefer the launch mechanics too. I just really think this is the case, they look at all the data they gather and make their decisions based solely on that.

Real baseball scores are fun. With that being said, players taking advantage of the situation and throwing everyone with 97+ stuff cause they know it plays right now is trash. It’s not even fun.

Real baseball scores aren't 25-20 though, thats a football score. I get that everyone loved watching every swing go 500 ft. but that gets played out and boring after about 3 games, hitting may have felt great at launch but it was broken, I was hitting no doubt HR's with the PCI nowhere near the ball.

I may be in the minority but I personally like the latest patch, the game plays much better IMO, I have seen a lot fewer hangers and a variety of hits. I was one of the biggest critics of this game even at launch, but the changes SDS has made are a vast improvement from what we had and I think if people actually took a day or two off from the game and let their brains refresh they would actually enjoy the game a lot more and would be less frustrated.

That’s totally it. They see batting averages are too high (“video game-like numbers”) and then start messing with the game to have outcomes deemed more “realistic”.
