Is Pinpoint Still The Best?

So last year was the first time I had played in years and I went with pinpoint from the start, but I am starting to wonder if it is still the best. More and more I just feel it is completely random with stuff floating to the middle of the zone way too often or stuff floating out when I really need to throw a strike. Just wondering if the consensus is that it is still the best or would it be worth giving something else a try?

Couldn't tell ya.. I'm too lazy to learn pin point. BUT meter floats just as bad... nothing worse than giving up a HR on a floater

Meter gets punished severely with the slightest miss

It's not as forgiving as it was early last year but when I'm on, it works splendidly for me.
