Flashbacks & Legends Packs
-
I’m at the point in the Flashbacks & Legends program where I have the 5 AL Flashbacks & Legends packs and the 5 NL Flashbacks & Legends packs. I figure that we’ll eventually get packs for the remaining players and I’m far from getting George Brett, so I doubt it matters which series (Rookie, Veteran, All Star etc.) the players’ cards are. I’m leaning towards just picking the 10 players with the highest rating (89) and getting their PXP missions out of the way. Does that make sense?

5 Packs of each gets you all of them. Just don't pick the same one twice

Each pack has 3 players in it 10 x 3 = 30

Really? Awesome. I thought the packs said “Choose 1 Player” on each pack. Thanks.

If you just view the verbage in the path it states Choose One ayer.
But if you hit Triangle when you're on a pack; it states that you have 3 rounds and can pick one player from each Division.

Also, unless you're trying the do all the Missions now; pick 5 SPs and your RP/CPs first.
Even though you need more PXP for pitchers (500) than hitters (300); you can get the pitchers done faster.

I went the other way. I think it's best to take at least 1 SP or two relievers per pack. The rest of the picks should be fielders. The fielders take longer so you want to have as much of a full squad as possible so you can work on as many as possible (some will have to be in secondary positions). You can get one SP done in a single CPU game or two relievers done in two CPU games (if you start them alternately), so you really chew through the pitchers while working on the fielders.
You do need to be strategic in how you pick your cards if you want to get them done quicker than not. I am left with two 1B who don't have secondary positions (Cepeda and Abreu). I have four SP left too (I didn't take a SP from each pack, so I didn't finish them as quickly as I should have).
However you do it, there are some great cards in these packs. I really enjoyed playing most of them.

Yes, its easier to get 500 pxp with a pitcher but you can only use one pitcher at a time. So if you're doing 9 inning games, why would anyone pick only pitchers? Wouldnt it make a [censored] ton more sense to take 1-2 pitchers and a bunch of hitters to start their pxp missions while using?
Just saying, i mixed all my picks and the only 2 i need to finish are Jenkins and Spahn.

Guess those options make sense. I did mine in Conquest games and noticed that I was getting 2-3 pitchers completed for every 1 batter. But again, that was in Conquest.

You could let one pitch 6 innings, get a QS, and other points for K's, etc, then another starter for the last 3, then start that SP next game. Not that bad.
