WTF Player Ratings

This is for MLB 21 the show. So if I understand correctly, you need to have an certain overall score to get promoted to the bigs. Ok no issue with that, however, my issue is my leveling process. Here is my situation.
I am currently and level 63 and have been after playing for 4 months of the season. I am hitting over 300 and have 20 plus homer and about 80 rbi's. Another player (CPU) had a 54 rating when I was at 61, about 1/3 through the season. He is now at 62 overall. I have a much higher batting average, he is 262, many more homers, he has 8, more rbi's, he has 41 and just plain better across the board yet he is growing much faster than me. What gives and for that matter why does my player grow so slowly in comparison and in general. At this rate, it will take me about 4-5 seasons to get into the show.

Player ratings in RTTS is not based off the player's statistics!
Player rating in RTTS is based off completing the program missions, the archetype, perks, equipment as well as in game performance.

Yeah it’s ridiculous this year. SDS has totally put RTTS on the back burners bc of DD and it sucks but what we gonna do? They’re greedy and want the money from micro transactions over satisfying the players how it used to be. The whole point of this game is RTTS, it’s in the title of the game lol

Well to make matters worse, after tying this out, I went back to play a game and my entire stats now reset to 54 instead of 63. All of my stats are gone, my player name is Joe random. Even when I manually load the file, this happens. This has been such a horrible experience. I decided to give the game an upgrade as the last time I upgraded was in 2017. It seems things have gotten worse, not better. Truly disappointed.

I've only ever seen "Joe Random" appear with a new career. New careers typically start with 30 stats.
Overall it seems like your stats are lower than they should be. What archetype and perks (example: Bronze slugging sparkplug) are you using and for what position? Do you play fielding and run, or only bat/pitch? Do you have all of your equipment? I have an idea, but these might answer your question if I'm wrong.

I was playing spark plug bronze and I was playing CF. I do fielding and batting. I checked on the other saves and tried loading a variety of different ways, but nothing seems to work. My player is reverted to Joe Random, everything is gone and it reverted me back to entry level stats.

You still haven't earned a silver? Since you're not getting the error message, I'm dumbfounded as to the reversion. For you're archetype to level up to a silver faster, make sure you play all fielding. You should get three to five putouts per game. I believe it's fifteen putouts to get three points toward you're silver archetype. That should make getting moved to AAA quicker. Before that, make sure you haven't always gotten it.

Thanks, I had no choice but to start over due to the lost saved data. I will watch and take all the suggestions as I go forward with the new player.
