And it's full innings from a pitcher; so if you play the matchup game in the middle of an inning, that one doesn't count.

Say you win at home:
8.5 played, 8 innings awarded.
You brought in a lefty in the 8th with two outs, and your starter gave you 7.2 and your closer the 9th (which already doesn't count because you don't play bottom of the 9th), the 8th doesn't count. So it's 7 innings.

Same scenario, on the road, you get 8. The first 7 from your starter, 8th doesn't count, and the 9th from your closer, since it's 9 and not 8.5.

Yeah, whatever. No matter whether you're home or away, a full game should count as 9 innings in this program. Those single innings add up to several games over the 300 inning requirement.
