Bunting and stealing Glitch

Over the last 2 days, I’ve ran into 2 clowns that literally bunted with every single batter and were stealing every base. Throw overs and step offs didn’t work because the animations in this game are so bad, the players don’t react in time. Just played a clown named Ichiro51Ohtani17 that bunted with every single player on the Yankees and there was nothing my defense could do about it even on bunt defense. Of course, this guy probably thinks he’s good, but of course this is trash and is just about exploiting the game.
What happened to playing realistic baseball? Seems like the game is all about gimmicks and who can be the cheesiest. I don’t understand why lobbies were removed and the option to avoid these clowns was taken away. I enjoy playing Legend and Online Rated is the only viable option to play Legend on, but running into these clowns takes the joy away from the game.
Also, why aren’t balks on? I spend half the game holding down R2 before a pitch because clowns can’t bother to come set. This also makes it [censored] near impossible to steal bases. I remember we used to combat this with early steals, which don’t seem to be in the game anymore. Fix your game SDS! I’ve been playing this game since the first MLB The Show and I don’t remember it ever being this terrible and gimmicky.

That player you mentioned is a known cheater/cheeser. He use to be top 10 because of freeze offs but now that they have handled that better this year he’s moved on to cheesing. I’d block him so you don’t get matched up with him again. That’s what I do as soon as I run into a known (or unknown) cheater or cheesier at this point.

He was probably, imo, using a zen to force easy bunts. Also you can adjust your defense to pull your 3rd baseman closer for drag bunts. You can also do a bunt defense with all your infielders. Do pitch outs too

Way back in MLB 11 & 12 I was ranked #1 online. Before all go this Diamond Dynasty and no lobbies stuff came about. The top 20 players always held tournaments because we actually enjoyed playing competitive games. If this is the type of dude who was top 10, then this game is in a sad state.
I took a few years off once I saw that SDS was investing all of their focus on Diamond Dynasty, which has been another cancer to this game. I picked this game up again this year and I’ve been enjoying it again, but it’s hard not to notice how gimmicky it has become, especially when things like this happen.

Man, I adjusted my defense to play against the bunt, but the animations in this game are so bad, my players don’t react in time or get rid of the ball quick enough - It’s pretty aggravating. This guy was bunting for hits with Aaron Judge, Rizzo, Hicks. It’s terrible man. If this guy is known to be a common cheater, why hasn’t he been banned?
It also falls on SDS to fix the game because I can guarantee you, Aaron Judge isn’t a good bunter. They need to fix the game to prevent stuff like this from happening.

I agree with what you are saying but I doubt SDS is going to do something about online games that aren't DD.

Lmao bro I played that guy 2 years ago in online rated he was top 30 or something. Slapped him up. His cheese skills were elite. Sent images from ab 50 different psnid’s simultaneously trying to get me to freeze out

Yup lol did the same thing after I whooped him last year. Got a few of those accounts suspended before I ended up blocking him. Won the freeze off after about 3 days too.
