Cfd means confidence I'm pretty sure, so the higher % means bad pitches will have less of an effect on your confidence.

It refers to the pitcher’s confidence on your team. His confidence meter will drain more slowly if your relationship results in -%CFD. Not sure how much effect it has. Hard to measure.
