How long to get call?

I'm not very far into the season at all but just curious the fastest you can get to the majors, like a year and a half?

Depends heavily on the needs of the big club. Paradoxically, the more they need you, and the faster you get there, the more likely the rest of the roster will be less than competitive. My new toon for 20 got drafted in Round 17, and went from Erie straight to Detroit before the end of July.
Now, do the math here: a teenager from the 17th round, making the big club after about half a season in Double-A. You think a contender is going to be that desperate? Hint: after 24 games, my guy is second on the team in dingers, third in runs driven in, and has racked up a 3.2 WAR, which is tops on the club. Any wonder, then, why the Tigers are already playing out the string at the end of August?
If you end up stuck in the minors for a season or two, be thankful: it probably means the big club is pretty darn good. If they rush you straight to the show, then a) you're probably going to end up being the anchor of a rebuild, and b) you'll likely be staring down a long-term contract in the offseason that you'll pretty much have to sign.
I mean, my guy's going to be stuck in Detroit until he goes UFA. Detroit's roster has exactly three multi-year deals for all its outfielders combined right now: there's one 1/5, one 1/3, one 1/2, and the rest is all rentals. So, yeah, he'll likely get term for a pittance, assuming the front office knows which way is up.

I got an invitation to spring training after a full year of Double-A. I was drafted first in the 16th round by the Tigers as a 2nd baseman and I refused to move to 3rd base, because I feel like I always get stuck at that position then (based on previous versions). I did still get 3B as a secondary position, but I think because of it all, they shipped me to Boston and there was immediate need for me because Pedroia was my only competition.

It took my player 2 years. Drafted by the Yankees traded to the Jays and they started me a season later... and then traded me again this time to Cleveland despite my player beign a All Star in his rookie year. 3 trades in 2 years.

Fastest I've done it was 2 months. Usually I get called up after AA ASG.

In 2018, 19 and now 20, it's not uncommon to get up to the Show by the all-star break of AA. I set up a LF, was drafted by the Marlins, promoted to MLB by mid-July and actually had enough playing time to be the Rookie of the Year. Like TheRedCloak said, it depends on the club.
I just set up a new player, a "Small Ball" Shortstop. I was drafted by... the Rockies (!). Trevor Story sits WAY ahead of me, so I want to see if they either trade me, or let me toil away in the minors for awhile. I hope it's the latter.

I just set up a new player, a "Small Ball" Shortstop. I was drafted by... the Rockies (!). Trevor Story sits WAY ahead of me, so I want to see if they either trade me, or let me toil away in the minors for awhile. I hope it's the latter.
I bet they try to make you move positions. I only had Jonathon Schoop ahead of me and they were content with him I guess. I'm now a 99 overall though

Just choose the Orioles and they should call you up right away, they need all the help they can get!

They did move me, to CF. After a few weeks, they asked me to stay there. I said "no". They said "Trevor Story is ahead of you". I still said "no". We'll see if I get traded, or have to wait until Trevor reaches free agency...

Hmmm, we'll see what happens. I want to say it took a month to 2 months before they traded me, but I resisted initially, because I've gotten stuck in positions in previous versions. Best of luck.
